About NCVMB

The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board (NCVMB) is the state agency responsible for regulating veterinary medicine and protecting consumers. Established in 1903 by the North Carolina General Assembly, the Board works to promote, preserve, and protect the health, safety, and welfare of both people and animals across the state.
